We had Ashlynne's 12th Birthday party yesterday and they had a blast! We did it a little early for a couple of reasons. One, to make sure as many kids as she wanted could come before they went off for the summer, and Two, because ...we're going off for the summer! (most of it) Yes, we're heading off to Grandma Mickie and Pop-Pop's on Wednesday and will be back July 15th. I know I'm looking forward to real summer heat! But, back to the party...

We rented a Fun Jump that juuuuust fit in the back yard. Add her big present, Guitar Hero and everyone was very entertained! The Fun Jump people were so busy this weekend that they had to come set it up on Friday evening around 8:30 and didn't pick it up until 7:30 Saturday night. Whoo-hoo! The kids LOVED it. We got used to it pretty quick so now that it's gone, the yard looks so empty! She had four of her friends spend the night so needless to say it was fun but we are beat today! Check out the cake complete with finger mark from Trey. I can't believe my little girl's cake took a whole package of candles!!!
We'll be heading up to Lance's grandparent's on Tuesday and taking Ashlynne out to her actual birthday dinner along with Grandma Bergman. Lance will have to get back for his Wednesday classes so Grandpa Ernie will run us to the airport in the morning and Alabama here we come! We look forward to seeing everyone who'll be close by!
