Ashlynne finished out her second year of dancing with Gray's Creek High School and the recital tonight was spectacular!
Ashlynne danced in three group numbers with the Dance 2 class, one all company number (finale) and one duet with her partner from last year, Kayla. They had such a good time choreographing together last year and got such a good response, they decided to do it again! The crowd sure remembered-- listen to them before the lights come up. The first 30 seconds is nothing but a packed house cheering them on! You'll notice in the other videos that there is almost no cheering before any of the other numbers, hee-hee-hee.....
Ashlynne and Kayla, "Americano"
Dance 2, "Circus" (from Water for Elephants "The Circus Sets Up")
*watch for Ashlynne to get thrown in the air in this one....
Dance 2, "Pacman"
*She's in the front on the end at the beginning...
That's one recital down and one to go. She's got the big one with Cumberland Academy of Dance on June 10th in which she'll be in numbers for ballet, jazz and lyrical. What a way to spend her 16th Birthday! :-)
