SYTYCD!

Ashlynne and I had a great time at the So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD) show last night! We spent way too much on food and souvenirs and Ashlynne just about lost her voice from all her whoo-hoo's! It was great! Here's a link to see some pics and video. Can't wait until next season and next year's tour! http://s81.photobucket.com/albums/j220/st965/So%20You%20Think%20You%20Can%20Dance%20Tour%2008/

Busy Start To The Weekend

A slow start to the week has turned into a busy weekend for us. Lance has the week off before he starts his LAST quarter on Monday! Lance and I tried to go kayaking yesterday, but fate conspired against us and we're going to try again tomorrow. Instead though, we went to Cannery Row and found lots of pretty sea glass on the beach! We hit Ghiradelli on the way out to so it wasn't a total bust after all.

Ashlynne and I are so excited! Tonight is finally the night for the "So You Think You Can Dance" concert in San Jose! We're BIG fans of the show so we got tickets as soon as they went on sale this summer. We'll be hitting the road as soon as she gets home from school at 4:30 (can you believe how late?!) and can get ready. We'll be sure to post some pictures tomorrow!

Speaking of hitting the road, Lance found someone who's selling the hard top to his jeep online in Los Angeles at a great price, so we're taking a little road trip on Saturday to get it. It'll be our first time down there so we're all kind of excited. And to add to it, my sister Brooke, may be in town as well. It'll be great to have a tour guide--and to see her of course! We hope to get lots of cool pictures!

And lastly, thanks for humoring us with these back-to-back fundraisers for Ashlynne's school. Orders for magazines have to be in today, so if you ordered, Thanks! And if you were thinking of ordering, make sure to get it in today. Thanks again! Ashlynne's missed the bus so I'm off to take her to school-- Have a great day!

Hurricane Trey, Category 5

Not a whole lot else to say! That coffee table has become a sacrificial altar it seems lately. You saw the hair mousse a couple of weeks ago. This morning it was a box of cereal. Apparently, if you shake 'em hard enough, those sippy cups can do a little damage too.

The 1st picture up there is garlic powder. An industrial size bottle of garlic powder. Lance's friend brought over a huge box of condiments, spices, cans, etc. from his house since he was moving and we were laughing at how he had two of those huge bottles of garlic powder. A little while later Lance says, "I thought there were two of those?"

Next are my ...*sniff*...glasses. Still can't find one of the lenses. R.I.P.

Next would be our son in a very familiar spot of late, time-out or the Naughty Step as the Supernanny calls it! You can see, on this day he worked so hard wreaking havoc he fell fast asleep.

And the last pic is from a couple of days ago when he came up to me and said, "Mommy! Boobies!" I had to go get the camera.

Baby's Day Out

Yesterday was fun as Trey and I had an "outing". While we were running some errands he said he wanted a hotdog so we hit, of course, Target! That sort of started a well-if-you-like-that-then-you'll-love-this thing and we left with his new appreciation for blue icees, a fire truck with doors that really open (he gets so mad when the doors won't open!) and a movie, Stewart Little, for the car.

Next we hit the Dennis the Menace park here in Monterey. It's a really georgous park right next to the ocean with a gentle scent of eucalyptus trees wafting over from across the street. I took some pictures of it while we were there although we spent most of the time on the big train. I can't get over how big he's getting and how much he's talking!
