Yes, our little guy turned two on Thursday. We decided to have his party today so that great grandma & grandpa Tessier and grandma Bergman could come. Ashlynne's friend Tiffani also came and gave him the present that turned out to be the big winner-- a stuffed frog that he kept saying "cute! cute!" to and hugging all afternoon. Thanks to everyone who sent him something. I'm sure we'll talk to you soon to give you a full report if we haven't already. We were so lucky to have a warm, sunny day for the party! Especially since most of his gifts this year were outdoor toys. We gave him the swimming pool with the idea he could use it like a fun ball pit when it's too chilly to swim. Band Concert
So you may know that Ashlynne and the rest of the 6th grade class has been learning the flute this year. We were all treated to the Spring Concert this past Wednesday with the rest of the district kids including all the other wind instruments. While Ashlynne loved the free t-shirt she got, she doesn't see more flute playing in her future. Click the link to hear the lovely sounds of "Sweetly Sings The Donkey" (which sounds suspiciously like "Mary Had A Little Lamb"). http://s81.photobucket.com/albums/j220/st965/Band%20Concert%202008/

A Great Start to Spring
Time sure flies. Since last time we had a great visit from my mom, Mickie who flew out for a couple of weeks. Needless to say we showed her all the sights and she agrees with me-- it's beautiful, but too cold! Anyway, we had a great Easter during that time and the Easter Bunny was good to both the kids. Grandma & Grandpa Tessier came down from San Jose for Easter dinner along with Lance's friend Tom. I haven't had to cook for that many in a long time! (ok, mom helped... a lot!) Then the following Thursday my sister, Brooke, Kelli and their son Sage also drove up from Beverly Hills for a long weekend while mom was here so we had a house full! It was fun to see how much the babies had grown and learned and how they played together since they last saw each other at Thanksgiving!
