A little more updating on our big summer adventure! We travelled to Marianna, Florida where Grandaddy Richard and Grandmother Sandy live and spent a few days with them. Ashlynne had a blast riding the lawn mower after very little convincing was needed for Grandaddy to let her cut the almost three acres.
Dad's old friend, Bob Boyd and his wife Elaine came to dinner one night and we had fun catching up on old times and eating smoked ribs. And on Susan's birthday we all headed over to the Florida Caverns State Park. Trey had his first lesson in stalagmites, stalactites, flowstone and other cave-drip formations ...which he has promptly forgotten. :-) But he loved playing down in the caves!
